Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes conduct and content that are prohibited on Podsmith, operated by Capacity in Reserve, LLC. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may update it from time to time.

1. Prohibited content

You may not upload, generate, host, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
  • Infringes intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights you do not hold;
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors (we report such material to authorities);
  • Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or hatred against people or groups;
  • Contains malware, or is designed to harm or deceive;
  • Discloses others’ private or sensitive information without consent.

2. Prohibited conduct

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or its infrastructure;
  • Probing, scanning, or testing the security of the Service without authorization;
  • Interfering with or disrupting the Service, including denial-of-service attacks;
  • Circumventing usage limits, tenancy boundaries, or access controls;
  • Sending spam or unsolicited messages, or using the Service for fraudulent schemes;
  • Scraping or harvesting data beyond your own workspace, or reselling the Service without authorization.

3. Fair use of resources

You may not use the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or degrades performance for other customers. Automated traffic that abuses bandwidth, storage, or processing may be rate-limited or blocked.

4. Distribution and third parties

When publishing to external destinations (RSS directories, YouTube, webhooks, and others), you must comply with their policies. You are responsible for the content you syndicate and for any webhooks you configure.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, or take other action we deem appropriate, with or without notice. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
